Your dancer may purchase a ticket to sit in the audience for the “half” that they don’t dance in. So this might work well for the particular show you are watching.
Photos on the Day
Rebecca is hoping for fine weather and if so will set up outside for photos. Because of how EXPRESSIONS is set up your dancers will not be able to go out during the half they are performing. For those dancers who are in both halves then you will need to do your photos between the two shows.
On the Performance Days
Unfortunately, I was unable to secure another hall so we are going with plan B. All students in the first half will arrive DRESSED, HAIR & MAKE-UP done 30 minutes prior to each show – we will have a sign in sheet for them to complete. Forty of those students will leave at intermission and will need to be signed out and collected from the ground level door (will show everyone during the rehearsal week). Forty new students will then arrive all DRESSED, HAIR & MAKE-UP done ready for the second half of the show – again another sign in sheet for them to complete.
Only parents who have been confirmed as helpers will be allowed in the dressing room area. For health and safety reasons EXPRESSIONS have a licence agreement for how many we are allowed and I have to adhere to those rules and regulations.
Everyone has been very supportive and I truly appreciate that. The recital might not be what we are used to but the students will still get to do what they love, performing on stage for their family and friends. This is our most talked about dance event and the highlight of our year and I promise to give my all to ensure the students shine.
